Erethizon Dorsatum Canabisia (North American Stoned Porcupine)
Habitat: Eastern Canada and Atlantic region
Diet: Bark and leaves of various Northern trees, poptarts, marijuana

Information: The North American Stoned Porcupine is realitively harmless to humans. It spends most of it's time eating sleeping and getting high. the Average NASP will use 4 times it's body weight in Marijuana on a yearly basis. Only a total of 2 attacks were reported in the year of 2002. However one must take caution when approaching as the quills are sharp and can be dislodged into the victims flesh. unlike the common porcupine The NASP's quills are naturally laced with Tetrahydrocanabinol as a storage for when weed supplies are low. This also makes the NASP a highly desired rodent for Addicts and has been hunted almost to extinction. Luckily, due to recent Marijuana laws issued by the Canadian government, this species is making a comback.
